Her sonic universe connects femininity, nature and self-discovery, with references that resonate with artists such as Nidia Góngora, Mitú or YoSoyMatt, yet shaped by a distinct identity of her own.

Trained in singing from an early age and surrounded by popular and lyrical songs in Purépecha and Náhuatl, Pahua expanded her musical language by learning percussion and drums. She later co-founded the project Sotomayor with her brother, touring across Mexico, the United States and Latin America, consolidating a rhythmic and stage foundation that now runs through her solo work.

Her music moves between synthesizers, organic sounds and lyrically rich vocals, exploring Latin and Afro-Latin rhythms, alternative beats and electronic textures. With over 20 million accumulated streams, she has been selected as a Spotify EQUAL Mexico ambassador, was part of Amazon Music’s ROMPE program, and participated in Arrullos Mexicanos Vol. 1 by Apple Music, nominated for a Latin Grammy.
