This curiosity\u2014both musical and human\u2014lies at the heart of their project, starting with the band\u2019s name: a tribute to a bar on Via Padova in Milan \u2014 a meeting point for the four musicians and the whole neighborhood \u2014 where different languages and cultures constantly mix. From that corner of the world they observe, blend influences and find inspiration for their music.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"1495\">After winning over audiences in Milan\u2019s most underground venues and performing numerous concerts in Italy and abroad, in April 2023 \u2014 despite not having released a single track yet \u2014 they were included in Rolling Stone\u2019s Class of 2023, a selection of the most promising acts of the year. In May they performed at the Mi Ami festival, coinciding with the release of their first single, <em data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1201\">Zenzero<\/em>, followed in June by <em data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1231\">Elisir<\/em> and in September by <em data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1267\">Stracciatella<\/em>. These three tracks anticipated their first EP <em data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1339\">Maledetta Quella Notte<\/em> (October 2023), produced by Marquis. With this work the band consolidated their funk-jazz sound, blending it with influences from 1960s Italian film music.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1884\">In 2024 Il Mago Del Gelato officially joined the Dischi Numero Uno label, releasing the single <em data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"1601\">Pandora<\/em> in April and starting a new artistic phase.
