From this came a sound that blended son with rock, trova with guaracha, and nostalgia with a distinctly Cuban sense of irony. That sound became known as <strong>Habana Abierta<\/strong>, and it forever changed the way several generations of Cubans \u2014 both on and off the island \u2014 understood their own identity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Now, after years of following separate paths, <strong>Habana Abierta<\/strong> is coming together on stage once again. And this time, in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Hummo Productions<\/strong> presents this concert as part of a larger project: to reunite and rekindle the legacy of a collective that never truly ceased to exist, even as its members took different geographical paths. It is a unique opportunity to reconnect with songs that became the soundtrack of an entire era, performed by the people who created them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">For those who grew up with these songs, it will be a reunion. For those who never knew them, it will be a discovery of one of the most honest chapters in contemporary Cuban music.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Habana Abierta in Barcelona.
