The Gramophone Allstars Big Band \u2014 Jazzmaica, soul y ritmo caribe\u00f1o en clave colectiva<\/b><\/p>\n

The Gramophone Allstars Big Band<\/strong> es uno de los proyectos m\u00e1s s\u00f3lidos y reconocibles de la escena de m\u00fasica negra actual. Su propuesta parte de la m\u00fasica jamaicana de los a\u00f1os sesenta (ska, rocksteady y reggae) y la expande hacia el soul, el jazz y otros lenguajes afroamericanos, con una identidad sonora propia y muy trabajada.<\/span><\/p>\n

El grupo nace en la primavera de 2008 y da un giro decisivo cuando muta a formato big band con Jazzmaica (2014), un \u00e1lbum aclamado que incluso se publica en Jap\u00f3n y que consolida su personalidad musical. Bajo la direcci\u00f3n del saxofonista Gen\u00eds Bou<\/strong>, la banda combina precisi\u00f3n orquestal, groove y una clara vocaci\u00f3n festiva sin perder profundidad musical.<\/span><\/p>\n

Con Maraca Soul (2017) ampl\u00edan el abanico r\u00edtmico incorporando sonoridades caribe\u00f1as como el boogaloo o el calipso. En los a\u00f1os siguientes publican varios trabajos de corta duraci\u00f3n que refuerzan su versatilidad: The Reel Influence, el single Let\u2019s Get It On (reinterpretando a Marvin Gaye) y el EP Love Letter (2021), siempre con un cuidado especial por los arreglos y el pulso colectivo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tras m\u00e1s de 150 conciertos en formato big band, en 2023 regresaron con Call Your Friends, un trabajo que reafirm\u00f3 la madurez del proyecto y su capacidad para actualizar tradiciones musicales desde una mirada contempor\u00e1nea, bailable y elegante.<\/span><\/p>\n
