Megan Visagie<\/strong>, baterista londinense de 19 a\u00f1os, se ha abierto paso con rapidez en la escena jazz\u00edstica internacional. En septiembre de 2025 dio el salto a Nueva York para estudiar en el Tribeca Jazz Institute de Manhattan, donde ya est\u00e1 llamando la atenci\u00f3n de m\u00fasicos y profesionales de la ciudad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Antes de mudarse, Megan<\/strong> se destac\u00f3 en clubes de Londres como Pizza Express Live y Jazz Caf\u00e9, tocando junto a j\u00f3venes talentos emergentes. Su estilo se nutre de referentes como Art Taylor<\/strong>, Sid Catlett<\/strong> y Max Roach<\/strong>, combinando tradici\u00f3n y frescura en cada interpretaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

El cuarteto que la acompa\u00f1a incluye a Bruce Barth<\/strong> al piano, Jo Phillips<\/strong> al saxo tenor, Leon Buckley<\/strong> a los saxofones y Masa Kamaguchi<\/strong> al contrabajo. Juntos exploran composiciones inspiradas en Thad Jones<\/strong>, Bud Powell<\/strong> y Kenny Barron<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de originales de los propios integrantes, en un di\u00e1logo constante entre swing, improvisaci\u00f3n y groove.<\/span><\/p>\n
