Brash and charismatic, Tacho has managed to create a unique universe in each of his compositions. With surprising naturalness, he plays with elements of African-American roots music such as jazz, R&B or hip hop, as well as with genres of Afro-Latin origin such as salsa, merengue, cumbia or bolero, without forgetting free jazz. , trap or even flamenco.
As a trombonist he has made national and international tours with artists of the stature of C.Tangana or Els Catarres, and has played with many other relevant artists such as Nil Moliner, Oques Grasses, Buhos, Suu and Doctor Prats. On his EPs and singles he has recorded collaborations with Rita Payés, Vic Mirallas, Alba Armengou, Latin Grammy winners Las Migas, and Colombian artist Juan Pablo Vega, among others.
After releasing his debut solo album, “Movimiento” (Musicbus, 2021), in 2023 he released his second EP, “Sepia; del ego al animal” (Ventilador Music, 2023), a conceptual album where it explores the idea of transformation and personal liberation through humor and surrealism.
Now Tacho opens a new stage in which he reclaims his roots and Valencian culture from the artistic breadth that characterizes him. He already made references to his homeland in the 2023 singles “Ese ratico” and “El Premio Gordo”, the latter in collaboration with the legendary Los Manolos. In 2024, he raises the nod to celebration with the double single “Arrimaeta”, made up of “La bachateta” and “Xiqueta Meua”, two songs set in the Fallas of Valencia and recorded with the band of the Ciutat de Benicarló musical association.
Tacho is an interdisciplinary artist, capable of mixing various arts in the same show, and with his own and original style that makes him unmistakable. A revelation of the Spanish urban-latin-funk scene and one of the most interesting artists on the current emerging scene.
