Guitarist Albert Vila premieres his latest musical project in a quartet format, a formation that takes the classic sound of the jazz organ trio as its starting point and expands its sonic horizons. The project is built around a fully original repertoire, in which Vila explores the more rhythmic and groovy side of the genre, organically integrating influences from soul and blues.
For this new direction, the guitarist has surrounded himself with an outstanding lineup of musicians who ensure a top-level rhythm section: Abel Boquera on organ and Umberto Odone on drums, both key figures and among the most in-demand musicians on the current Madrid scene.
The quartet is completed by the mastery of Perico Sambeat on alto saxophone, whose international career and unique musical language bring unquestionable depth and solidity to the project.
