The Spanish-Dutch saxophonist presents a repertoire of original compositions alongside outstanding musicians from the national jazz scene: Xavi Torres on piano, Joan Terol on drums, and virtuoso Italian double bassist Marco Zenini.
A modern jazz project with a wide range of influences, where rhythm becomes the guiding thread. The compositions explore contemporary jazz grooves, alternating with pieces inspired by Brazilian folklore and flamenco traditions.
With the acclaimed BvR Flamenco Big Band, van Rossum has also earned critical recognition, releasing three albums and collaborating with artists such as Carles Benavent, Antonio Serrano, and Rafael de Utrera, as well as performing at festivals including Jazz San Javier, FIJAZZ, Eurojazz Mexico, Flamenco Biennale, and the North Sea Jazz Festival.
