Camila Bañados is a Chilean composer and singer who creates a delicate and evocative sonic universe, blending nature-inspired soundscapes with jazz, indie, pop, electronic, and world music influences. Her work bridges the intimate and the collective, offering a distinctive listening experience.
After releasing singles such as Árbol, Persianas, Viaje, and Nudo —later compiled in the EP Figura 1. (2024)— she established her artistic vision with her debut album Viento 1. (Mescalina, 2024), recorded with a twelve-piece ensemble under the direction of Ignacio Díaz Lahsen. The album stands out for its interdisciplinary approach, combining lyrical sensitivity with a rich instrumental palette.
She has performed at key venues in Chile, including Fluvial and VAM, and in 2025 took part in Teatro a Mil and the Valparaíso International Jazz Festival. Recently, she has begun her international journey with performances in Colombia (Jazz al Parque) and Mexico (FIM Guadalajara), marking a new stage in her career.
