Ventura Profana voice and performance
Ventura Profana is a Brazilian singer, composer, writer and visual artist from Bahia. Her work brings together contemporary Brazilian music, gospel, sound experimentation and performance, with an artistic exploration of spirituality, the body, and Black and travesti experiences.
Her international career includes projects presented at the Venice Biennale, the São Paulo Biennial and MASP, among other institutions and cultural spaces.
For this concert, she presents an intimate 60-minute format featuring voice and guitar, bringing her vocal power, original compositions and the performative dimension of her work to the forefront.
