Albert Nieto – Rumba, emotion and soulful lyrics
Albert Nieto is a self-taught musician from Vilanova del Camí (Barcelona) who released his debut solo EP Paraíso Locura in 2024. The title track has already surpassed 30,000 views on YouTube and includes a standout collaboration with Carolina “La Chispa,” vocalist of the acclaimed group Las Migas.
He has performed this project live at Barcelona venues like New Fizz and Espai Jove Boca Nord, backed by Carlos Avatar—renowned producer and long-time collaborator of El Kanka. In 2016, after years performing solo, he formed La Séptima Trastada, releasing tracks like “Pa’ Que el Sol Se Caiga,” “Labios Caramelizados,” and “Agua,” which gained thousands of plays on digital platforms.
With his band, he has performed at local festivals in Catalonia, Anòlia, and several editions of “Vente Pa’ Jerez,” sharing the bill with top artists from the Andalusian music scene such as Los Delinqüentes, Alejandro Astola (Fondo Flamenco), and Duende Josele. He’s also played key singer-songwriter venues in Madrid and brought his music to Ibiza, Portugal, Italy, Uruguay, and Argentina.
Charismatic and versatile, Albert Nieto connects deeply with audiences through upbeat rumba versions and heartfelt original songs. His live setup adapts to each setting, from solo gigs to small ensembles with percussion, bass, sax or violin. A passionate artist with a clear voice and no limits.
