Fede Álvarez Quartet – “A Blue Trip” Tour

The Fede Álvarez Quartet features leading musicians from Barcelona’s dynamic jazz scene, each with extensive experience performing at top festivals across Europe.

Their debut album, A Blue Trip, recorded at Sol de Sants Estudio and released in July 2025, marks Álvarez’s return as a bandleader after his solo debut Inside Blues (2018).

The record showcases six original compositions that span a rich range of jazz styles, from the iconic 1960s Blue Note sound and the hard bop of Horace Silver and Art Blakey, to the spiritual depth of John Coltrane’s quartet and the bluesy soul of Cannonball Adderley — all filtered through a distinct, personal lens.

On stage, the quartet delivers high-energy performances filled with powerful solos, swinging standards, lyrical ballads and fresh originals — offering an intense, dynamic experience that captivates audiences.
