LUDMILA MERCERÓN - Jamboree Jazz
LUDMILA MERCERÓN

Despite her youth, or precisely because of it, Ludmila Mercerón is one of the most exciting additions to the roster of Cuban popular and traditional song. The respect she feels for the artists who have blazed the trail makes her participation in the festival a tribute to three great figures in bolero who have recently left us: Edye Gormé, Esther Borja and Cheo Feliciano. An evening which will also commemorate the figure of a universal writer who was passionate about bolero: the Colombian Gabriel García Márquez.

By courtesy of Ron Varadero, all those attending can have a free taste of rum with the purchase of their ticket.

Ludmila Mercerón, veu. Roberto Álvarez ‘Cracumbele’ piano, Robin Reyes musical director and double bass, Bárbaro Torres and Eduardo Libre percussion.

With the special participation of JOSÉ LUIS QUINTANA ‘CHANGUITO’ and JOSÉ LUIS CORTÉS ‘EL TOSCO’
