To make an audience vibrate, there is nothing better than a good session of blues, r’n’b, funk and other warm rhythms of Afro-American origin. In this case, the session is at the hands of the Plaça Reial venue’s resident band, the Jamboree B4 U Band, loyal to its followers on two Sundays every month for almost five years. It is led by a master of the younger generations playing the blues in this country: Álex Álvarez – better known as Álex TNT – who has shared the stage with Hook Herrera, Corey Harris, Sam Cockrell and Rick Perkins, among others. It is completed by the guitarist Albert “Green Light” and a top-class rhythm section consisting of two versatile session players and veterans of a thousand and one adventures. Dizzying time signatures and noisy registers for working up a sweat.
