Formed in Barcelona in 2020, the Poyo Moya Trio brings together pianist Cristian Poyo Moya, bassist Oriol Fontanals, and drummer Reginald Vilardell in a vibrant exploration of Afro-American music — blending Blues, R&B, Swing, Ragtime, and Jazz with effortless style.
With the piano leading the way, their live performances are marked by virtuosity, energy, and elegance, featuring a powerful and finely tuned repertoire that pays tribute to jazz tradition while keeping it fresh and alive.
The trio now presents their third album, The Piano Swing — a celebration of rhythm, groove, and swing — which made its successful debut at Jamboree last May.
