Restinga: Bedroom Pop & Arab World
Restinga is the artistic alter ego of Spanish-Moroccan artist Herminia Loh Moreno, born in Tetouan and based in Seville from a young age. Also known as a DJ specialized in world dance music, she began presenting her own songs in 2023, all composed, sung, recorded and produced at home. Her music blends confessional bedroom pop with influences from Arab and Oriental music and electronic textures. In May 2025 she debuted with the album Free Baby, a work that twists together Arab music, wild electronics and contemporary pop. She has presented the album at festivals such as Primavera Sound, Sound Isidro, Picnic Sessions, and Alhautor, and recently completed a nearly ten-day tour of Morocco.
