Moreno Veloso and Domenico Lancellotti met at school and, since then, have been part of several musical formations over the years, including Mulheres que dizem sim, Gold Night Varsóvia, +2’s, Orquestra Imperial, the Partimpim band, the Gal band, Refavela, among others.
Moreno Veloso is a singer, composer, and music producer born in Salvador, Bahia. He began his recording career in 2000 with the project +2, alongside Domenico Lancellotti and Alexandre Kassin. Since then, he has developed a personal trajectory that blends experimentation and songwriting, with albums such as Coisa Boa (2014) and Every Single Night (2021). He has taken part in stage projects and soundtracks, such as Imã by Grupo Corpo, and has shared the stage with his family in the show Ofertório, released as an album in 2018.
Domenico Lancellotti is a Brazilian musician, composer, and producer, a key figure in his country’s contemporary music scene. He began his career in the 1990s with the experimental group Mulheres que Dizem Sim and later became part of the trio +2 together with Moreno Veloso and Kassin, with whom he explored new sonic languages. He has participated in collective projects such as Orquestra Imperial and Os Ritmistas, and pursues a solo career marked by the fusion of samba, electronics, and experimentation, with albums including Cine Privê (2011), Serra dos Órgãos (2017), and Sramba (2023). He also composes music for theatre and dance, establishing himself as one of the most versatile and innovative creators on today’s Brazilian music scene.
