The Hanfris Quartet is a male vocal group formed in 2009 in Barcelona, specializing in American barbershop music. With more than 16 years of experience, they have won the gold medal at the Spanish Barbershop Quartet Championship five times and are currently ranked fourth among European quartets.
The repertoire of The Hanfris Quartet is a sonic journey through a wide variety of genres: from jazz standards and versions of the great crooners to rock and contemporary pop hits, as well as adaptations of songs in Catalan. A warm and distinctive sound, blending humor, freshness, cheekiness, and elegance, together with a magnetic connection with the audience, are the main ingredients of their shows.
On this occasion, The Hanfris Quartet is joined by the Oriol González Crazy Trio. Together, they create a show that combines the spectacular nature of barbershop with the energy of jazz. Their dynamic proposal includes rock & roll versions, jazz standards, swing, musicals, Disney film songs, Catalan songs, and original compositions.
Humor, subtlety, and even dance are some of the weapons of this septet, who come to Jamboree to offer a fresh perspective on the local jazz scene.
