In autumn 2015, after first meeting in Canada in 2014, Olivier Le Goas invited the internationally renowned American guitarist Nir Felder to Bauer Studios in Ludwigsburg to record his album Reciprocity. Four years later, Felder also took part in the recording of Reciprocity’s second album, On Ramp Of Heaven Dreams, released in 2020 by Challenge Records.
The band has already performed on several occasions during two European tours at some of Europe’s most vibrant venues, such as Paradox in Tilburg, PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho in London, and Jazzclub Unterfahrt in Munich, as well as at festivals including Elbjazz in Hamburg and Jazz in the City in Essen.
It was in 2024, during a series of trio concerts alongside the brilliant Polish pianist Dominik Wania — including performances at the PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho in London — that Olivier enlisted the young and talented Norwegian double bassist Håkon Huldt-Nystrøm.
With this new line-up, Olivier and his band will perform tracks from some of the drummer’s latest albums, including Sunland, Reciprocity, and On Ramp Of Heaven Dreams, as well as brand-new and previously unreleased compositions.
