Marta Robles and Alicia Grillo, guitarists of Las Migas, present a truly special format: a duo born from the desire to explore new ways of communicating through the guitar. In the intimate setting of Jamboree, Robles and Grillo will recreate the universe of Las Migas from an instrumental perspective. Melodies, rhythms, and silences become the vehicles through which they convey the messages at the heart of the band’s songs: freedom, identity, feminine strength, travel, and the search for one’s own voice.
As the artists themselves explain, the concert is conceived as a shared experience. They engage in conversation with the audience, reveal the stories behind some of the pieces, encourage participation, and create moments of attentive listening that show how a story can also be told without words. The repertoire combines Las Migas compositions, works from the Spanish classical tradition, flamenco pieces, and original works by Robles, creating an evocative journey that brings together tradition, contemporary creation, and emotion.
More than a concert, it is a conversation between two guitars and the audience—an intimate and vibrant experience where music becomes a universal language, capable of crossing borders and connecting cultures and people.
