Through the years, he has played in the bands of Pat Martino, Lou Donaldson, Ralph Peterson Jr., and Chuck Loeb. He has also performed with Red Holloway, George Coleman, Terell Stafford, Dakota Staton, and Steely Dan. His mastery of the instrument, his harmonic ability, his rhythmic intensity, and his versatility are unsurpassed.
