La Publicitat is a Barcelona-based band formed by Víctor Jiménez (drums), Marc Gelabert (bass), Pol Guardiola (guitar) and Bru Esteve (guitar and vocals). With an innovative concept of bringing together four young men with four old instruments, the group chose the name of a popular newspaper from the last century —La Publicitat— to lead their musical project.
With Tornem de seguida, the band’s first EP, the group makes it clear that they have more urgency than budget to share the work they have been developing over the past months. At the very least, they promise to return soon with more music for an audience that is growing more diverse by the day (of course, they started from zero, so anyone counts).
