Jazz and blues legend Jim Mullen returns to Jamboree with an explosive lineup crafted for pure groove lovers. The Scottish guitarist—one of Europe’s most influential jazz voices and a pioneer of the British fusion movement of the 1970s—steps onstage with an all-star band featuring Agustí Mas on guitar, Gerard Nieto on organ, Mark Hodgson on bass and Stephen Keogh on drums.
Throughout his career, Mullen has been part of iconic projects like Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express, and has collaborated with major figures in Afro-American and Afro-Caribbean music such as Malcom Duncan, Roger Ball (The Average White Band) and Dick Morrissey, with whom he recorded seven albums over sixteen years. Joining him is Agustí Mas, an internationally renowned blues guitarist and a key player in Barcelona’s scene.
