The MASiMAS Festival 2026 presents Bass Monkeys, a musical collective that reinterprets the tradition of Sicilian wind bands through a contemporary and radically energetic lens. Bass Monkeys works with the imagery of traditional brass bands, transferring their rhythms, timbres, and dynamics to a modern context where repetition, electronics, and festive drive coexist.
