Shifting is the quintet’s current project and the title of their new album. It is a contemporary jazz proposal based on original compositions, where interaction and the constant evolution of the musical material are central elements.
After a debut warmly received by critics, the group presents a more defined and personal sound, with bebop influences but a clearly contemporary perspective. The project is built around the dialogue between tenor saxophone and guitar, supported by the harmonic foundation of the piano and a solid yet flexible rhythm section that drives the music with freedom.
Live, Shifting is presented as a vibrant and open concert experience, where the compositions evolve and transform without losing the essence of the project.
