Sheryl Youngblood – Blues with soul and stage power

Sheryl Youngblood is a powerhouse singer, drummer, songwriter, and bandleader known for her rich career in Blues, Gospel, and Soul. Born in the 1960s in Joliet, Illinois (USA), she began her musical journey singing with “The Tommies,” a group that earned multiple awards including a Gospel Grammy Award and a Stella Award.

During that time, she also started playing drums and recorded as a session artist for renowned names such as Otis Clay, Koko Taylor, and The Koko Taylor Blues Foundation. She has shared the stage with legends like Buddy Guy, John Primer, Bobby Rush, and Maurice John Vaughn.

In 2013, she founded the Sheryl Youngblood Blues Band, and since then, she has performed in the most iconic blues venues across Chicago and the USA, toured through Europe and South America, and graced the stage of the Chicago Blues Festival in 2023.

With a powerful voice and commanding stage presence, Sheryl Youngblood leaves no one indifferent. On her 2026 European tour, she will be joined by an electric band led by two internationally acclaimed musicians based in Spain: José Luis Pardo on guitar and TotaBlues on harmonica.
