New Old School is a band from Sabadell, which started out making versions of blues, soul and funk.
Over time they replaced the covers with their own songs, taking a strong air of 70s rock, but without forgetting black music. In 2024 they released their first album `New Old School’ and at the beginning of 2026 the second one was released: `New Old School II.
Over the years they have played in places like Jamboree, Nova Jazz cava de Terrassa, Barcelona blues festival or Cerdanyola blues festival among others.
Some of them have accompanied musicians like Lou Marini (Blues Brothers), James Harman, Mike Sanchez, Marcia Ball, Sax Gordon, Hook Herrera, Dani Nelo, August Tharrats, Lluís Coloma or Big Dani Pérez among others and have supported bands like George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic, Koko Taylor, Luky Peterson, Kool & the gang, Earth wind & fire or Kenny Garrett.
In 2023 the band preceded Jetro Tull at the Portaferrada Festival.
