Sofia Ribeiro, a singer with a magnificent and versatile voice, with a career that includes 11 albums released under her name, several international awards, and performances in more than 20 countries, presents her new project. This new project is built upon an immersive string-based sound —Portuguese guitar, seven-string guitar, violin, and cello— creating a warm and profound atmosphere. The interaction between the musicians and improvisation are fundamental to the essence of the project, where playfulness takes a central role. The album aims to build a bridge between the traditional and the contemporary, through a dialogue between elements from different musical heritages, creating a meeting point between the harmonic sophistication of jazz, Latin rhythms, and the simple yet deeply emotional essence of fado.
