At the same time, the album is the result of meticulous work on the meaning of the lyrics, melodies, and arrangements, seeking to shape each piece with the utmost care.
The album’s repertoire, seemingly eclectic yet firmly rooted in jazz, travels from Broadway to Bill Evans, with brief excursions into Brazilian music and the singer-songwriter tradition.
