The Trio, for the past 16 years, has been internationally known for their constant artistic curiosity and innovative collaborations that continue to push their jazz forward. Touring mainly outside the Netherlands, a highlight for the trio was a double-bill concert with Chick Corea at the legendary London jazz club Ronnie Scott’s.
As the opening act of the Taichung Jazz Festival in Taiwan, they played for 60,000 enthusiastic jazz fans. Excellent musicians individually, but together their music represents a journey to a different sound. When they play together, influences abound, and their historical instruments reflect an alternative vision of contemporary jazz.
