Vocalist Alicia Waller brings her ensemble Alicia Waller & The Excursion to Jamboree Jazz Club for an unforgettable night of music. Blending jazz, soul and vernacular sounds, Waller performs selections from her acclaimed EP Some Hidden Treasure (2020) alongside new material from her highly anticipated debut album Louder Then. Known for the luminous warmth of her voice and her deeply expressive approach to soul, the New York–based artist delivers a sound praised for its richness, depth and emotional resonance.
Waller has performed at renowned venues such as the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Museum of Modern Art, Museum of the City of New York, BRIC Arts Media House and Jamaica Performing Arts Center, among others. A recipient of numerous awards from Chamber Music America, NYC Women’s Fund, NYSCA, American Composers Forum and New Music USA, she arrives in Barcelona with a project that bridges tradition and contemporary soul with elegance and power.
