Sant Andreu Jazz Band Octet – The new generation of Catalan jazz

A new wave of talent emerges from the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, which celebrates its 20-year journey (2006–2026) with special concerts both with the full orchestra and in more intimate formations. On this occasion, an exceptional octet comes to Jamboree, bringing together established musicians like Arnau Julià, young rising stars in the jazz scene such as Pau Garcia, Elsa Armengou, and Lola Peñaranda, and promising new additions like Sander Theuns, Bernat Benavente, and Irina Fernández.

The concert will be a vibrant journey through swing, bebop, hard bop, and vocal jazz, with touches of Brazilian music adding warmth and color. A unique opportunity to discover the present and future of jazz made at home, performed by a generation beginning to make its mark.
