Manrico Seghi Organ Trio – Hammond organ in the spotlight
The Manrico Seghi Organ Trio centers around the organist Manrico Seghi, whose sound and artistic vision define the project. The trio was created to preserve and continue the legacy of the great jazz organists who have shaped the history of the instrument.
Throughout his career, Manrico has met and studied with some of his greatest influences, including Joey DeFrancesco, Pat Bianchi, and Tony Monaco, experiences that have profoundly shaped his style and approach to the Hammond organ.
The trio’s repertoire spans from soul jazz and blues to bebop and traditional jazz, featuring intense musical interaction, a solid sense of rhythm, and a perfect balance between tradition and contemporary influences.
Manrico Seghi has performed at prestigious international venues, including the Blue Note clubs in Beijing and Shanghai, and has been recognized by Jazzit magazine as one of Italy’s leading jazz organists. A unique chance to experience the Hammond organ at its finest.
