Two renowned musicians, Jeff Denson (USA) and Romain Pilon (France), met 20 years ago at Berklee College of Music, bonding over countless jam sessions and a shared passion: exploring jazz without limits or preconceptions. Since then, both have built brilliant careers, recording numerous albums as leaders and collaborating with greats such as Lee Konitz, Joe Lovano, Ben Wendel, Jeff Ballard, and Brian Blade.
Following a successful first collaborative album and a string of concerts across the USA, they reunite to present their latest works: Finding Light and Between Two Worlds, joined by the phenomenal Fred Pasqua on drums, a Marseille native known for his unique stylistic touch and collaborations with Nelson Veras, Walter Smith, Logan Richardson, among others.
This trio’s music is interactive and generous, reflecting the joy and chemistry these musicians share on stage. Influences span from Led Zeppelin to Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Hendrix, and Satie, creating a vibrant and captivating musical journey.
An unmissable evening combining virtuosity, improvisation, and deep musical sensitivity.
