The Heeks – Blues with soul
The Heeks is a Barcelona-based blues band led by siblings Carla Sunday (vocals) and Arnau Demons (piano), along with drummer Héctor Infieles. The lineup is sometimes expanded with guitar, saxophone and double bass, adding even more color and power to their sound.
With a diverse and established trajectory, they have performed on notable stages such as Jardins de Pedralbes, the Blues Festivals of Cerdanyola, Reus, Altea and Sant Quirze de Besora, as well as iconic venues like Luz de Gas and Harlem Jazz Club.
Their repertoire embraces Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Boogie and Soul, revisiting classics by Ruth Brown, Etta James, Freddie King, Lowell Fulson and more, delivering heartfelt performances with irresistible groove and connection.
